    On 2-5 October, Dar Młodzieży arrived in Jakarta. Port Tanjunkg Priok was one of the stops during the Independence Sail.

    Undersecretary of State in the Polish Ministry of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation, Anna Moskwa as well as the Ambassador of Poland in Indonesia, Beata Stoczynska and vice rectors of Maritime Universities in Gdynia and Szczecin took part in the welcoming ceremony of Polish tall ship "Dar Mlodziezy".

     

    On behalf of the Indonesian side, in the ceremony participated Secretary General in the Ministry Coordinating Maritime Affairs Mr. Agus Parwonto, the Ambassador of Indonesia in Poland, Peter F. Gontha as well as representatives of Harbour Authority, Maritime Institute in Jakarta (STIP) and the local Polish community. The STIP brass orchestra of 160 musicians honoured the welcoming event with an excellent performance of national anthem of Poland. The participants were also invited to visit the sailing ship and enjoy the lunch on board the frigate in the company of Minister Anna Moskwa.
