    Father Stanislaw "Stanis" Wyparlo died in the hospital in Cancar (Flores) on April 14th.

    On April 15th at 5pm requiem for a soul of Father Stanislaw Wyparlo was celebrated in Ruteng.


    The next day, the body of Father Stanis was moved in procession to the cathedral, where at 8.00 was a solemn funeral mass. Then the coffin was taken to the cemetery in Kuwu.


    The ceremony was attended by more than 100 priests and the crowds of parishioners. They brought about 30 crowns, including the courtesy of Polish missionaries wreath from the Polish Embassy in Jakarta (thanks to courtesy of Polish missionaries).


    Father Stanislaw Wyparło was born April 15, 1933, and served for 48 years in Indonesia. For outstanding achievements in building grassroots bilateral relations and exemplary representation of Polish religious and moral values , in January this year. hewas decorated with the Order of Polonia Restituta, handed in on behalf of the President of the Republic by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia.
